Sacred Bush Landscape (sold)

A plain-air painting of these old trees burnt in the 1983 fires, still standing majestically surrounded by beautiful colours and memories of the ferns. The trees are longstanding and ever present - the old with the new around it. A memory of what will come. Out of death comes life. Merging the old style with the new in terms of colour. This work is part of the Covid19 series (2019 - 2023) of my new colourful stylelistic approach to the landscape and seacape.
